1. Assumption of Risk

Participation in a Saudi Birding tour involves inherent risks associated with international travel and outdoor activities.

 

These risks include, but are not limited to:

• Travel on paved and unpaved roads in remote areas

• Environmental hazards, including heat and natural terrain

• Delayed or limited access to medical facilities

• Transportation by vehicle, boat, or aircraft

• Acts or omissions of third-party service providers

• Events beyond reasonable control, including weather, governmental actions, or travel disruptions

You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation, including the risk of injury, illness, or death.

2. Limitation of Liability

Saudi Birding acts as a tour organizer and coordinates services provided by independent third parties.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Saudi Birding is not liable for any injury, illness, death, loss, damage, delay, or inconvenience arising from participation in a tour, including those resulting from third-party providers or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct where applicable by law.

3. Personal Property

Participants are solely responsible for their personal belongings, including optics, cameras, electronics, luggage, and travel documents. Saudi Birding accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage.

4. Health & Insurance

By booking a tour, you confirm that you are physically capable of participating in moderate outdoor activity in warm climates and varied terrain.

Participants are responsible for:

• Obtaining appropriate travel and medical insurance

• All medical expenses incurred during the tour

• Emergency evacuation or related costs

​

Medical facilities in some areas may be limited.

​

5.  Media Release

During the tour, photographs or video may be taken by Saudi Birding or its representatives. By participating in the tour, you grant Saudi Birding permission to use images or video in which you may appear for promotional, marketing, website, social media, and other business purposes without compensation.

If you prefer not to appear in promotional materials, you must notify Saudi Birding in writing prior to the start of the tour.

6. Cancellation Policy

Deposits are refundable, minus a $30 administrative fee, up to 90 days prior to departure.

Cancellations within 90 days of departure may result in forfeiture of the deposit and any additional payments made, depending on costs already incurred.

If Saudi Birding cancels a tour, payments received will be refunded. Saudi Birding is not responsible for additional expenses incurred by participants, including airfare or independent travel arrangements.​​​​​
