Tour Overview
Our classic Arabian Endemics Tour is designed to target the full suite of 16 Arabian Peninsula endemics across a striking range of habitats—from the sand-gravel desert and sandstone wadis of central Arabia to the cool, wooded escarpments and warm coastal plains of the southwest.

Key targets include Philby’s Partridge, Arabian Eagle-Owl, Asir Magpie, Arabian Woodpecker, Yemen Warbler, Arabian Grosbeak, and Yemen Linnet along with near-endemics most reliably seen in Saudi Arabia such as Rufous-capped Lark and Arabian Golden Sparrow. Southwest Arabia also supports a fascinating array of Afrotropical species, a few of which represent endemic subspecies and potential future splits.

Along the way, we explore traditional mountain villages and historic sites, including the striking stone architecture of Thee Ain Village in Al Bahah, integrating natural history with the cultural landscapes that have shaped Arabia for millennia.
